Why 13 Chakras And Not 7 - Most of us use and operate from the conventional 7 chakra system. Through awareness and empowerment we all have the capacity to develop and evolve through the conventional 7 chakra energy system to 13.
What Is A Chakra - Chakras are energy centres in our bodies. They are the openings for 'life energy' to flow in and out of our aura. Their function is to nourish and vitalise our physical body and aid awareness to the development of our consciousness.
Each one contains data referring to our past, present and future thoughts, feelings and emotions. Every chakra in our body vibrates at a different speed producing multiple colours in our aura.
On a physical level, each chakra governs a main organ or gland. How we think and feels affects and influences the physical body creating good health, alternatively, if we feel and act negatively, naturally we can manifest dis-ease within the body.
Where Are They - The entry points of the chakras are evenly spaced along the pranic tube. (see figure) The distance between each chakra (starting from the perineum) is the same measurement from the tip of your nose, to the tip of your chin and the distance between your eyes.
