Where choice and destiny meet

Therapies
There are many different therapies available. Many of them can be used individually to great effect, although they can all be combined and used to compliment each other. A brief description of many of the therapies offered by our members is given below.
Flower Essences
Plants have been used for their medicinal qualities for thousands of years, even animals seem to know which plant to eat when they feel ill. Later plants were used in more refined ways and in modern times drugs are made synthetically to mimic the actions of medicinal plants. The use of essences made from flowers is referred to by the great sixteenth century physician, Paracelsus, when the dew collected from flowers is used medicinally.

The use of flower essences ceased, until Dr. Edward Bach. Bach discovered that flowers could give up their healing energy into water and can be used to treat people, primarily for emotional problems. He formulated 38 remedies before his early death, his most famous legacy is Rescue Remedy. This combination essence of five remedies is known around the world and is used by thousands of people.

Practitioners around the world began to make and market their own essences and this interest has grown substantially over the last 20 years. There are now more than 25 producers of flower essences and gem elixirs from all over the globe. The more well-known brands include Australian Bush Flower Essences, Alaskan Essences, Healing Herbs (Bach remedies), Flower Essence Society and Indigo Essences.

Flower remedies or essences contain the life force or energy of each flower and carries its own unique healing vibration. Similar preparations can be made using gems and crystals and these are sometimes known as elixirs.
